Over the past 30 years, the NC Zoo Society has been working hard to cultivate members and donors in the planned gift area to support the NC Zoo. The result: over 300 documented bequests. In fact, the most recent bequest to the NC Zoo is likely to top $4 million.
Leave a Legacy (Charlotte Region) is hosting an interesting session exploring the topic of planned giving and key elements of a successful campaign. The session will be led by Chris McLeod of Giving Matters, Inc. and Russ Williams of the NC Zoo Society.
